Dubbed the medical wonder woman by startupAFRICA, 28-year old Dr. Nokukhanya Khanyile is the epitome of what hard work, commitment and passion can achieve.
Understanding that mental health is as important as physical health, Dr Nokukhanya- A University of the Witwatersrand alumni-also regularly speaks on mental illness and promotes mental health through her work as the Vice President of Mental Matters. An organisation dedicated to the education and destigmatisation of mental illness, and the promotion of mental health in youth and
society as a whole.
She believes her passion for people is a trait that she credits to her close-knit family and circle of trusted friends. “I’m just a real girl in a big world tasked by an awesome God to save little people”
