Osas Ighodaro is an actress, producer, host and humanitarian. She is best known for her work on ‘Fela and the Kalakuta Queens, ‘King of Boys’, ‘Smart Money Woman’ ‘MTV’s Shuga’, ‘Cadillac Records’ & ‘Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns’. She starred and executive produced the captivating and informative short film ‘My Mfon’.
Osas was named 2018’s ‘Highest Grossing Box Office Actress in Nollywood (Nigeria’s film industry). Osas ranked amongst the Top 3 National finalists in the American Black Film Festival/NBCUniversal Star Project – monologue competition. In 2010, Osas was crowned Miss Black USA 2010 as well as won the award for Best TV Actress at the 2014 edition of Exquisite Lady of the Year Awards.
Osas is the founder of the NGO – Joyful Joy Foundation – which strives and raises funds to eradicate Malaria throughout Africa – one community at a time.
